The Company Today
The Kirk Group has remained a family business. The company has grown to now employ 93 personnel supplying Pre-press imaging to the majority of Gravure and Flexographic Printers in Australia and New Zealand.
The Kirk Group commenced Flexographic plate production with the purchase of their first Digilas Laser in Jan 2000, a further 3 Lasers have been installed in 2002 and 2005 providing the largest capacity for Digital Plate output in the industry.
In Nov 2005 the Kirk Group purchased the Graphic Plates Brisbane operation. The Kirk Group is the only flexographic provider to have manufacturing sites in all 3 eastern states.
The Kirk Group Management has developed a policy to manufacture, develop and program their engineering and software requirements without the use of outside services. For this reason the Kirk Group has a business structure to provide a complete Pre-Press solution to our Customers.
