The Kirk Group approaches Account Management with the allocation of appropriately trained personnel to an individual account. The Account Manager assigned to the account will have the support from an internal Graphics person(s) who will be allocated the specific designs associated to that Account Manager.
The best example of successful account management is the TSSC project (The Smiths Snack Food Company). The Kirk Group provides an internal Sales coordinator who transits between the 2 offices. The account managers role is to monitor the progress of all TSSC designs from the art house to the printer. He reports to the marketing department and also manages the press approvals.
The Kirk Group has a flat management structure and relies on individuals managing their specific accounts reporting to the General Manager. A Kirk Group policy is to provide and receive all communication in writing, no assumptions or verbal instructions are to be accepted. The escalation channels are directly communicated to the General Manager; the Kirk Group will resolve an issue and provide the Pre-Press solution before associating fault internally of externally, our aim is to never allow the customer to be without solutions to any issue that may arise.
